However, if you are a buyer of pop culture, you must be able to know the secret of that. The TV show Gossip Girl can be considered as a guidebook of pop culture, it not only affects the pop culture, but also has been influenced by it. As an illustration, people ‘s hairstyles and clothes styles in the show will be a popular trend in the real life. They pursue fashion and hot products. Cell phone is a major part of their daily routines; they are texting all the time. However, I am just wondering are their lifestyles in the mainstream of the American public lifestyles? Does it reflect the pop culture of young people in the United States literally? If so, I found that it is really hard for me to merge my original lifestyle into the native lifestyle that the people have in the show because of the different cultural backgrounds. For this reason, I realized it is true that the younger people come to a new country, the faster they can accept and embrace the new culture.
